AN INDIVIDUAL identified by authorities as a top ten city-level drug personality was arrested on Tuesday evening, December 9, 2025, during a joint buy-bust operation conducted around 9:50 p.m. at the corner of Bacahoa Village near Roasters Lechon Baka, Barangay Cabantian.
The operation by Buhangin Police Station 5 (PS5), the Station Drug Enforcement Team, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI, targeted alias Franz, a 35-year-old barangay staff member, was carried out by personnel from
Franz, a resident of Purok 35, Barangay Cabantian, was apprehended for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, specifically Sections 5 (selling) and 11 (possession).
Seized from the suspect’s possession were two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, with an estimated standard street value of P 43,180. Law enforcers also confiscated the buy-bust money and a Honda XRM motorcycle bearing plate number SF1882.
