THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) solidified its partnership with the education sector on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, by launching its Oplan: Kabalikat anti-bullying initiative during a traditional flag-raising ceremony at Communal Elementary School.

PCOL Mannan C. MuaRIP, Acting City Director of the DCPO, spearheaded the engagement, where he was warmly welcomed by Barangay Captain Ingrid Joy Scalercio and School Principal Nelson S. Lubguban in Barangay Communal, Buhangin District.

Oplan: Kabalikat is focused on education, prevention, and community-police collaboration to actively address peer abuse, harassment, and intimidation among students, teachers, and community stakeholders.

Following the ceremony, Muarip transitioned to Oplan: Parangal (Recognition), awarding the Medalya ng Papuri (Commendation Medal) to Major Clarian Dave S. Toboso and other personnel.

The award recognized their successful efforts at a joint PNP/AFP fixed checkpoint in Purok Licanan, Barangay Lasang, Bunawan, Davao City.

The operation resulted in the arrest of alias Romel and the recovery of a heat-sealed transparent sachet containing methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), weighing 3.36038 grams.

The DCPO reaffirmed its commitment to the education sector and the wider community, asserting its belief that a safer Davao City today paves the way for a brighter, stronger, and more united future for the next generation.
