THE DAVAO Classic and Sports Car Club, in partnership Primelube Lubricants, Ciudades, and PLDT, officially launched the 2025 Hot August Races on Aug. 23, joined by over 120 high-speed racers to partake in the 1/8 mile drag event.
In its 23rd edition, this year’s race revved up Ciudades Business Park and featured Diesel and Electric Vehicle classes.
Aside from the legal 1/8 mile legal race, the event also had a car show, showcasing classic, customized, and unique modifications from both 2-wheel and 4-wheel entries. Car lovers who went to the event also got a chance to test-drive 4×4 vehicles on off-road terrain.
The 2025 Hot August Races event was an accredited activity for the Kadayawan Festival.
Located in Barangay Mandug, Buhangin District, Ciudades Business Park is a 200-hectare mixed-use development that includes residential enclaves like Las Palmas Verdes, Altea Homes, Soller, and Nizanta Homes.
