TACLOBAN CITY — Maxim Rides & Food Delivery has launched a public infrastructure improvement program in Tacloban City, beginning with the installation of benches at local hospitals to provide more comfortable spaces for patients, companions, visitors, and other community members.
The benches were installed at Leyte Provincial Hospital, Governor Benjamin T. Romualdez General Hospital and Schistosomiasis Center, and Tacloban City Hospital. These facilities accommodate large numbers of patients and visitors, while available seating can be limited. Through the program, Maxim aims to help improve these spaces and provide added comfort to the public at no additional cost to users.
“On behalf of Leyte Provincial Hospital, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the benches you have given to our facility. They have been helpful in serving our clients,” said a representative of Leyte Provincial Hospital.
“We want to contribute in practical ways that can make everyday experiences a little more comfortable for people in the communities where Maxim operates,” said Sedpre Jabagat, Head of Maxim Tacloban.
The program will expand to other community spaces, with Maxim exploring the development and installation of benches, pickup points, information boards, signs, and other equipment based on local needs. The company will also work with establishments and public spaces to identify opportunities for practical infrastructure improvements.
The program is also being implemented in other areas of Metro Manila. The company has installed benches in community spaces, including bus stops, schools, barangay health centers, and transport terminals, helping provide more comfortable spaces for people while waiting or accessing public services.
