THE MUNICIPALITY of Mawab has again affirmed its strong commitment to the fight against illegal drugs after earning a 100% rating in the recently concluded 2026 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit held on April 28, 2026.
The audit was conducted at the Kapalong Cooperative Building in Nabunturan by the Provincial Audit Committee (PAC) led by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Davao de Oro.
The annual assessment evaluates the effectiveness, functionality, and performance of local Anti-Drug Abuse Councils in implementing anti-drug programs and initiatives.
This achievement proves the hard work, unity, and unwavering dedication of the Mawab Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC).
The perfect rating also reflects the municipality and Mayor Myrill Apit’s continued commitment to strengthening programs, innovations, and services that contribute to a safer and drug-free community.
“This 100% rating is not just a milestone for the municipal government, but a victory for every Mawabnon who continues to support our programs for peace, safety, and community wellness. Our fight against illegal drugs requires collective effort, and I am proud of the dedication shown by our MADAC, our barangays, and our partners. Together, we will continue building a drug-free, progressive, and united Mawab,” Apit said.
The Local Government of Mawab commends everybody at the MADAC, all council members, and every barangay that actively participated in ensuring the success of this program.
Together, Mawab continues to move forward, united, committed, and steadfast in building a progressive and drug-free municipality.
