135 Davao City fuel stations participate in government subsidy program
A TOTAL of 135 petroleum retail stations across Davao City, all listed as participating outlets under the government’s P10-per-liter Fuel Subsidy Program, based on data released by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Wednesday.
Under the P10-per-liter Fuel Subsidy Program, qualified beneficiaries, including operators of traditional and modern jeepneys and UV Express units, may avail of a maximum of 150 liters per week in fuel discount.
The program, implemented in partnership with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) aims to cushion the impact of rising oil prices on the public transport sector.
According to LTFRB, qualified beneficiaries can avail of the fuel discount at any participating station.
The stations are spread across major thoroughfares and districts, including McArthur Highway, J.P. Laurel Avenue, the Davao-Bukidnon Highway, C.P. Garcia Road, R. Castillo Street, and the national highway running through Sasa, Panacan, Tibungco, Buhangin, Toril, Calinan, and Bunawan.
To identify the participating stations, tarpaulins are conspicuously posted at the front.
Based on the data from LTFRB, the fuel stations located in Davao City are distributed across several major oil companies and districts as follows:
Petron Corporation
- Poblacion & Downtown: F.S Dizon Road (Brgy 19-B), Magsaysay Ave. corner Guerrero St. (Brgy. 30-C), and Monteverde St. corner Gempesaw St.

The agency reminded the public to regularly check the updated list of participating gas stations nationwide, as more outlets are expected to be added to the program.
