Zamboanga City – As part of its Mother’s Day initiative, Maxim Rides & Food Delivery partnered with Solo Parents Calarian to distribute school supplies to families on May 9, 2026.
Solo Parents Calarian is a non-governmental organization in Zamboanga City that provides support services and assistance to solo parents through various community programs.
The activity benefited 130 children and 60 solo mothers, helping support students’ educational needs ahead of the upcoming school opening. A team of two staff members and five driver-partners facilitated the distribution of the donations.
Jean Castillo expressed her appreciation for the initiative, saying, “We truly appreciate the support extended to our community. Mothers greatly need essentials such as school supplies for the upcoming school opening. This assistance makes a meaningful difference.”
Beneficiaries also conveyed their gratitude to Maxim for choosing Solo Parents Calarian as the recipient of its Mother’s Day initiative. Solo-parent families expressed their appreciation for the assistance and the kindness shown through the activity.
