DESIRE brings all things aesthetics closer to the city as its second branch, Desire Davao, officially opened on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in time for its second anniversary.

What began as a modest, one-bed clinic in Calinan has transformed into a growing wellness destination as Desire officially expands to another branch.

Founded by Dr. Jenny Adtoon, the clinic was established to address a gap in the local market for affordable, doctor-led aesthetic procedures.

Looking back on the journey, Adtoon noted that the inspiration stemmed from a simple observation of local needs.

“It started really as a small clinic… I thought that there wasn’t another doctor performing these procedures. Instead of a small clinic with just one bed, I decided to add facials and nails since people here look for affordable services,” she shared during an interview with TIMES.

The physician-led aesthetic clinic offers expert medical aesthetics, including slimming and skin tightening, facials, and hair and nail services.

The Desire Davao is located at the MCJ Building, 121 University Ave., Juna Subd., Matina Crossing, while the first branch of Desire (Desire Calinan) is located at Door 6, My Gas Building, Aurora-Quezon Street, in Calinan.

More than the aesthetics

While the business focuses on aesthetics, Adtoon said Desire is rooted in holistic empowerment, which aims to help clients gain strength that extends beyond physical appearance.

“Aesthetics are not only for looking good. I’m not just enhancing their beauty or confidence, but also their power. When you make them beautiful, when you enhance them, they become stronger… they gain power for themselves,”  she said.

The second branch aims to continue the momentum, offering a variety of services ranging from basic skin care to specialized medical procedures.

To celebrate, the clinic also launched a major anniversary sale, offering up to 50% off on various services, particularly doctor-led procedures

Necessity than luxury

With the opening of a new branch, Adtoon said the clinic aims to impact on mental and emotional levels, providing a space where self-care is viewed as a necessity rather than a luxury.

Adtoon urged a shift in perspective, addressing the common feeling of guilt associated with personal investment

“Don’t feel guilty about giving yourself space. The importance of giving others your time and effort is just as important as giving it to yourself. How you take care of yourself is also what you can give to others,” she emphasized.
