Manila, Philippines — The Allianz Group maintained its leadership position in the Insurance and Asset Management industry while rising steadily in the overall ranking of the world’s most valuable brands, as shown in a recent report on the 500 strongest companies.

The 2026 Brand Finance Global 500 report, released by leading international experts in brand valuation, named the Allianz Group as the number one Insurance and Asset Management brand, well ahead of its direct competitors.

The German-based company also cemented its position as the 21st best-performing global brand, ahead of such industry giants as American Express (23rd spot), Shell (28th), and Disney (32nd). The Allianz Group’s 2026 ranking represented a four-spot climb from 25th place in the 2025 report.

Allianz’s impressive performance was driven by record-breaking year-on-year growth, registering a 22-percent increase in brand value at US$60 billion. Also buoying up the company’s robust valuation was its increasing share in strategic and growth markets.

This recognition comes on the heels of several other awards the company received in the past year. Most recently, Allianz was named the most valuable insurance brand in the 2025 Interbrand Global Brands Ranking.

“This recognition from Brand Finance Global 500 underscores the Allianz Group’s remarkable business performance over the years, particularly in 2025,” said Joe Gross, Allianz PNB Life President and Chief Executive Officer. “The global business posted impressive wins in business volume growth, profitability, and customer trust and satisfaction.”

He added: “At the heart of our brand strategy is our people-centric approach that prioritizes trust and competence, strengthens and deepens human connections, while also generating significant social contributions worldwide.”

In the Philippines, the Allianz Group and the Philippine National Bank have built a trusted brand through its joint venture, Allianz PNB Life Inc., with over 22 business centers in key cities nationwide.

“We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year. While Allianz is among the youngest brands in the country, we are excited to share more about our global Olympics partnership and close collaborations locally with our brand Ambassador Alyssa Valdez and Rebisco Volleyball. We will continue to develop grassroots volleyball and spread the importance of sports in developing physical and mental wellness among Filipinos,” said Gino Riola, Allianz PNB Life Chief Marketing Officer.   Allianz Group is confident that it will remain the global leader in insurance and asset management, while also improving its ranking on the list of the most valuable brands. In the Philippines, Allianz PNB Life is all set to grow its business further in 2026, having met its business targets in 2025.
