THE AWN for Relief and Development Association partnered with Qatar Charity to donate 34 e-bikes to Muslim and Christian families in a ceremony at Rizal Park on March 10, to help them earn a daily income.

The e-bikes are part of AWN Relief’s program to assist poor and marginalized families.

“This is one of the missions of AWN Relief to provide education to our fellow Muslims and non-Muslims, promote cultural understanding, and support the needy, especially in Davao City and Mindanao,” said Aqeelah Ramos, spokesperson of AWN Relief.

Beneficiaries can use the bikes for delivery, transport, and other small-scale livelihood activities, providing a sustainable source of income and improving their quality of life.

“This is a big help for us, especially for poor families without a livelihood. It gives us a way to earn income daily and support our families,” said Alden Muhammad, one of the beneficiaries.

The project also promotes community development and skills-building, reflecting AWN Relief’s commitment to empowering families and fostering social inclusion in Davao City.
