DAVAO lass Heather Megan Huang finished fourth in the 4th Leg of the Superkit Junior Elite Golf
13-15 Years Old Division at the Club Filipino de Cebu Golf Course and Country Club on Sunday, Sept. 7.
Huang had such a poor start and it would have been understandable if she gave up. But she dug deep and rallied to catch up to the other golfers. Fortunately, her perseverance paid off to finish the last hole with a birdie to close the round.
The 13-15 Girls Division was ruled by Maraela Dy, while Andrea Borromeo (1st runner-up), Vivienne Go (2nd runner-up), and Huang rounded up the top four finishers.
The Superkit Junior Elite Golf Tour features the country’s most promising golfers where they can pit their talents against the nation’s best. Hopefully, the platform will allow them to hone their skills and represent the country on the international stage.
