IN A HEARTWARMING celebration of National Disability Rights Week, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI partnered with Rely Construction Supply to bring smiles and essential educational support to 200 children with special needs.
The gift-giving activity, held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Victoria Plaza, was spearheaded by the agency’s Preventive Education and Community Involvement Section (PECIS), led by regional director Edgar T. Jubay.
Apart from the construction supply company, PDEA XI also collaborated with the Junior Drug Busters of the University of Mindanao to make the event a success.
Under the theme “Innovation for Inclusion: Building Inclusive Communities Together,” the initiative saw the distribution of school kits designed to aid the children in their education and classroom activities.
Beyond the school supplies, food packs were also provided, adding to the support given to the families.
Organizers emphasized that the event aimed to do more than just provide material aid; it sought to instill values of social responsibility, love, and compassion within the community.
