DAVAO City’s peace and order efforts were reaffirmed on Monday afternoon as Acting City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Zimmerman Duterte officially welcomed PCOL Mannan Caracas Muarip, the newly appointed Davao City Police Office (DCPO) chief.
During a courtesy call at Matina Enclaves, Duterte expressed his support for the DCPO’s plans and programs, particularly those geared towards enhancing public safety in the city.
Muarip, in turn, acknowledged the crucial backing from the local government.
“The support of the city mayor is crucial in realizing our shared vision of a safer and more peaceful Davao. With unity between the local government and the police force, we can truly deliver the kind of service that every Davaoeño deserves,” he said.
