IN RESPONSE to the devastating impact of recent typhoons across the Philippines, Shincheonji Church of Jesus (SCJ) has announced that its dedicated volunteer network is prepared to assist communities in need. With a commitment to humanitarian service, the group Shincheonji Volunteers stands ready to collaborate with local governments, NGOs, and relief organizations to provide urgent support to affected families and individuals.
Shincheonji Volunteers has also organized blood donation activities in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross in various parts of the country.

It held a blood donation drive in Silang and Dasmarinas in Cavite, Mandaluyong City, Lapu-Lapu City, and Bulacan last July 26, which was participated in by 134, 79 of them are members of Shincheonji Volunteers. Of all the participants, 98 have successfully qualified as donors.
Shincheonji Volunteers also expresses its intention of conducting regular blood donation drives with the Philippine Red Cross, as the volunteer group commits to helping save lives and promote volunteerism.

Shincheonji Volunteers is also equipped to assist with emergency supply distribution (relief goods repacking), debris removal, and cleanup efforts to restore access to homes and public spaces.
“In times of crisis, unity and compassion are vital,” said Louie Desingaño, a representative of Shincheonji Volunteers. “Our volunteers are trained to work efficiently and respectfully alongside local communities. We aim to alleviate suffering and help rebuild hope for those impacted by these disasters.”

Shicheonji Volunteers’ initiatives are rooted in its mission to serve humanity, reflecting values of empathy and solidarity. The group has previously supported disaster relief efforts globally, including responses to floods, pandemics, and wildfires.
