VP Sara salutes teachers

VICE PRESIDENT Sara Z. Duterte led the nation in honoring educators for World Teachers’ Day on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, issuing a message that lauded their indispensable role in shaping the nation’s future.

In a statement, Duterte extended a warm salute to all teachers, acknowledging their immense sacrifices in developing the capabilities, knowledge, and moral foundations of Filipino youth.

“We recognize the important role our teachers play in promoting a stable nation and a bright future for our youth,” the vice president said.

Duterte, a former Secretary of Education, paid tribute to the teaching profession’s significant contribution to its own advancement and to the overall progress of young Filipinos’ potential and skills.

The vice president expressed her commitment to supporting educators’ goals, conveying wishes for their continued success, strength, and health.

She concluded her message by urging teachers to remain an inspiration to the younger generation as they “wholeheartedly traverse the path toward our unified aspiration for a stable Philippines.”
