THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) seized over ₱346,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested two high-value drug personalities in separate operations across the city on Thursday, April 23.
At approximately 5:23 p.m., the Ecoland Police Station, led by Maj Edison Fiesta, conducted a joint buy-bust at SIR Phase 1, Barangay 76-A, leading to the arrest of a high-value individual known as Pidot.
Authorities recovered suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱204,068 from his possession.
Later that evening, at 8:57 p.m., the Ma-a Police Station, under Maj Philip Dave Uddin, arrested another high-value target in Purok 28, Poblacion, Barangay Ma-a. The operation yielded approximately ₱142,800 worth of the illegal substance.
DCPO chief Col Peter Bauzon Madria said the successful operations were made possible through close coordination with barangay officials and community informants.
“Every arrest and every confiscation represents another step toward safer neighborhoods and a stronger, more secure Davao City,” Madria said in a statement.
