A HIGH-VALUE target known as alias “Kuting” was apprehended by local authorities during a buy-bust operation at 5:42 p.m. in Ward 5-B, Isla Verde, Barangay 23-C on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU XI) initiated the operation with the support of the 1st and 2nd City Mobile Force Companies (CMFC) and the Sta. Ana Police Station.
The 36-year-old female suspect was immediately handcuffed after allegedly selling shabu to an undercover officer. Recovered from her were two heat-sealed sachets containing suspected shabu, an Android phone, and the ₱1,000 bill used as buy-bust money, along with 17 pieces of ₱1,000 “boodle” (fake) money.
The confiscated drugs have an estimated standard drug price of ₱136,000.
The suspect is currently in police custody and faces a charge for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
