THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested 113 individuals and seized over P2.1 million worth of illegal drugs from several operations covering April 5 to 11.
City police director Col Peter Bauzon Madria said 43 anti-illegal drug operations, leading to the arrest of 50 suspects and the confiscation of 301.39 grams of shabu, valued at approximately P2,049,469, alongside 605.05 grams of marijuana.
The week-long accomplishment also included 35 manhunt operations, resulting in the arrest of 35 individuals, 11 of whom were classified as most wanted. Also, police arrested 20 individuals and seized P8,000 in bet money from 13 illegal gambling operations.
Finally, on loose firearms, authorities arrested eight and recovered 20 firearms in 16 operations.
Madria said, “These achievements reflect not only the dedication of our personnel but also the strong partnership we have with the community. Together, we continue to build a safer and more peaceful Davao City.”
