IN A recent luncheon that brought together members of the media from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, Manila Marriott Hotel partnered with Cebu Pacific to offer a preview of their “See You, Wonderful” campaign—a movement that moves beyond mere hospitality.

Their latest campaign reimagines the modern travel experience as a multisensory journey. For the savvy “bleisure” traveler blurring the lines between business and leisure, the hotel serves as a high-end sanctuary just steps from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. It is a place where the stress of a cross-continental flight is dissolved at the Quan Spa and where a “work trip” is redefined by world-class indulgence.

This vision for the New Year is built on the momentum of a stellar 2025. Area general manager of Marriott International – Philippines, Bruce Winton, proudly shared that their property is now the prestigious home to two Michelin-Selected icons, Cru Steakhouse and Man Ho. Winton acknowledged the passion, creativity, and hard work of their culinary arts team for this triumph.

However, the real magic isn’t just happening within the hotel’s walls at Newport World Resorts; it’s what they are sending out to the rest of the world. In a move that has sent ripples through the local community, Director of Marketing Communications Archie Nicasio revealed a historic milestone for Filipino gastronomy.

“For the first time, our beloved Filipino dishes will be included in the global system of Marriott International and will finally be part of all our hotels’ all-day dining,” he said.

This means that across 9,000 hotels and 36 brands worldwide under Marriott’s ecosystem, the Philippines’ rich flavor profiles will finally have a permanent seat at the table.

This initiative goes deeper than just adding a few items to a menu. Marriott is also curating a collection of Filipino heirloom recipes to be immortalized in their international cookbook, ensuring that the secret techniques of Filipino kitchens find their way into professional culinary circles from New York to Paris.

By championing this local cuisine, the Manila Marriott isn’t just hosting guests; they are inviting the entire world to taste the heart of a nation. As we look toward the rest of the year, it seems the “Wonderful” they promised isn’t just a campaign—it’s a flavor that’s about to go global.
