VICE PRESIDENT Sara Duterte denied receiving money from alleged whistleblower Rodulfo Gracioso Jr., dismissing his allegations as a media stunt designed to rescue a “faltering impeachment case.”
In a statement released on Sept. 26, the Vice President announced that her legal team is currently securing an official copy of the Gracioso affidavit from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to prepare retaliatory legal action.
“Once we are done dismantling the lies contained in his testimony, it will end up in the trash bin—just like the one from Ramil Madriaga,” Duterte stated.
The Vice President blasted the administration’s maneuvers, claiming the renewed attacks aim to push for Charter Change, derail the 2028 elections, and help those in power cling to office.
In a counter-offensive, she pointed back at the administration, asserting that the public is instead demanding answers regarding a flood control scandal and calling for a public drug test for President Marcos.
“No amount of political maneuvering, propaganda, or manufactured distractions can ultimately silence the Filipino people,” Duterte added.
