TWO MEN were rushed to the hospital after a collision between a motorcycle and a bicycle around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2025, along the Davao City Coastal Road
According to a police report, the crash involved a blue road bike driven by a 17-year-old male resident of Matina Aplaya, and a Yamaha Mio Gear motorcycle (plate number L134GB) driven by Alias Carl, a resident of Roseville Subdivision in Lanang.
Initial investigation revealed that both vehicles were traveling in the same direction, on the outer lane of Coastal Road, heading toward the roundabout. The bicycle was reportedly ahead of the motorcycle.
The incident occurred when the bicyclist executed a U-turn, and the front portion of the motorcycle collided with the left front portion of the bicycle.
Emergency rescue paramedics from Barangay 76-A BDRRMC transported both individuals to the Southern Philippines Medical Center for immediate medical treatment.
