AUTHORITIES dismantled an alleged drug den and arrested three individuals during a buy-bust operation in Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Bincungan, at approximately 4:21 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
According to Nephi Noli Dimaandal, PDEA XI spokesperson, their Davao del Norte team coordinated with the Tagum City Police Station and the Civil-Military Operations of the Philippine Army to arrest alias Max.
The suspect, said to be a drug den maintainer, was arrested after selling a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu to a PDEA undercover agent.
Also arrested were alias An, who was identified as a drug den employee, and alias Waky, a drug den visitor.
Seized during the operation were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 14 grams, along with assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked buy-bust money.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspects.
