TO BOOST operational readiness and prioritize troop welfare on the front lines, MSgt Arnel L. Otadoy of the 29th Infantry Battalion recently concluded a three-day inspection of various patrol bases under the unit’s jurisdiction.
The three-day visitation focused on evaluating facility conditions, auditing base security protocols, and assessing the overall readiness and welfare of the CAFGU Active Auxiliary (CAA) personnel deployed in key rural posts.
Beyond technical inspections, Otadoy listened to frontline CAA forces about ground-level concerns and logistical needs, as well as reinforced core values of military discipline, professionalism, and operational vigilance.
“Maintaining mission success requires ensuring that our personnel at the grassroots level are fully supported, disciplined, and equipped,” the unit noted in a statement, emphasizing that sustained morale directly impacts local peace and order.
The regular leadership engagement forms part of the 29IB’s broader initiative to maintain high standards of military procedure while ensuring strong internal support for auxiliary forces who serve as vital force multipliers in safeguarding communities within its area of responsibility.
Through continuous base visits and troop engagement, the 29IB remains steadfast in sustaining combat readiness and ensuring long-term peace, security, and stability across northeastern Mindanao.
