ICT Davao Inc. will hold the AI Innovations Awards 2026 to convene business leaders, innovators, government partners, and industry stakeholders, which will be held at Grand Men Seng Hotel on Dec. 10.
The third edition of the event aims to recognize outstanding companies, organizations, and individuals who demonstrate how technology and AI can generate meaningful businesses and societal impact.
Two initiatives, namely preparing Mindanao’s businesses and workforce for the rapidly growing digital economy, and honoring organizations and individuals who have led those transformations, will be highlighted to position the region as a competitive destination for technology-driven investments.
Serving as the grand finale of the Digital Frontiers (AI Summit 2.0), the event fosters stronger collaborations among government agencies and the academe to accelerate the adoption of AI, enhance digital infrastructure, and develop future-ready talent.
Themed “From Connectivity to Capability,” Digital Frontiers focuses on three pillars: infrastructure capability, people capability, and artificial intelligence readiness.
“As Mindanao transitions from establishing basic connectivity to building robust digital capability, Digital Frontiers 2026 serves as a critical platform to align strategies, showcase emerging technologies, and forge partnerships that will define the region’s competitive advantage in the global digital economy,” ICT Davao chairman Atty. Samuel Matunog said during Wednesday’s media forum on Nov. 4.
The AI Innovations Awards 2026 will have 14 awards across categories: Corporate, Individual, and Special.
ICT Davao executive vice president Xavier Eric Manalastas said the awards are open to everybody as long as they are implementing AI that has impacted communities and employees in their respective companies.
Manalastas said that ICT Davao’s efforts have made AI front and center after the COVID-19 pandemic to make sure that Davao Region is ready and resilient.
