THE 10TH Infantry Division conducted a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar and Screening on Oct. 13, 2025, at Camp General Manuel T. Yan Sr. in Barangay Tuboran, Mawab, Davao de Oro, in line with the National Women’s Month celebration.
The activity was held to promote women’s health, emphasizing the early detection and prevention of breast cancer among its female military personnel, dependents, and civilian employees.
Dr. Genecar Erfe, a medical oncologist, served as the resource speaker. Participants also heard an inspiring testimony of strength and hope from breast cancer survivor Engr. Melina Avila.
This initiative reflects the 10ID’s steadfast commitment to women empowerment, health awareness, and the holistic welfare of its soldiers and their families.
