THE SEARCH party found two more bodies, who were believed to be the remaining individuals reported missing during a flash flood that swept away seven people swimming at Asik-Asik Falls on Sunday, Sept. 14.

According to the report, a still unidentified body was found in a river in Phase 3, Purok 20, DHRR, Tugbok at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18. The body was lodged under a large rock, so they had to wait for the 911 Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team to retrieve the body.

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) confirmed that the body belongs to one of the individuals who disappeared after a flash flood hit the mini-Asik-asik Falls in Barangay Carmen, Baguio District, last Sunday, September 14.

This discovery follows the retrieval of another body on Wednesday, Sept.17. The deceased, identified by police only as alias Jeffrey, 32, was found by Joshua Bilar Ellana at a riverbank in Purok 18, Barangay Mintal, Tugbok District.

According to police, Jeffrey was a glass installer and a resident of St. Jude, Buhangin.
