THE PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI in Davao del Sur, in coordination with the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the 1104th Regional Mobile Force Battalion, dismantled a drug den at around 7:46 P.M. in Sitio Patulangon, Barangay Zone 1, on Sept. 9, 2025.

Nephi Noli Dimaandal, the PDEA XI spokesperson, identified the primary target as alias Angkol, 52, the alleged maintainer of the drug den, who sold a sachet of suspected shabu weighing approximately two grams to an undercover PDEA agent.

Authorities also arrested a reported drug den employee, alias Ric, along with four visitors, alias Baleng, alias Don-Don, alias Mark, and alias Rhod.

Seized during the operation were six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing a total of approximately 22 grams of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money used in the sting operation.

Charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165) are being prepared against all six suspects.
