THE Davao City Police Office (DCPO) arrested a drug suspect and confiscated over ₱146,000 worth of suspected shabu around 10 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2025, at Purok 5-A, Barangay 23-C.
Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to the D.A.V.A.O. framework—Discipline, Action, Virtue, Accountability, and Order.
The operation, led by Police Station 1-Sta. Ana, led to the apprehension of alias Mak Mak, a street-level individual (SLI).
Col Mannan C. Muarip, acting city director, said the achievement reflected the DCPO’s comprehensive strategy to combat illegal drugs.
“Illegal drugs remain a poison that slowly kills the potential of our people, especially the youth,” Muarip stated. “It tears families apart, fuels criminality, and undermines the very foundation of our communities.”
He also said the operation underscored the effectiveness of the D.A.V.A.O. framework in ensuring the safety and order.
Muarip vowed to continue the relentless campaign against drugs until Davao City is “safe, orderly, and drug-free.”
