AUTHORITIES arrested a suspected big-time drug pusher and seized approximately ₱420,000 worth of suspected shabu during an entrapment operation in Rosa Sanz Street, Barangay 14-B, Davao City, around 5:20 p.m. on July 12, 2025.
The joint operation was led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI’s Regional Special Enforcement Team and the Ecoland Police Station.
The suspect, identified as alias Almer, 41, was apprehended after allegedly selling a sachet containing suspected shabu, valued at ₱20,000, to an undercover agent posing as a buyer.
In addition to the marked money used in the buy-bust operation, authorities also confiscated six more sachets of suspected shabu.
These additional sachets had an estimated total weight of 50 grams and a street value of approximately ₱400,000.
The suspect will face a charge for violating Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
