THE EASTERN Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) and the Commission on Audit (COA) XI are reinforcing their shared commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparency.

On Sept. 17, the two organizations convened for a crucial entrance conference at the EastMinCom headquarters in Panacan, Davao City.

The conference, led by COA supervising auditor Atty. Fahad D. Mangacop, is a vital step in ensuring that public funds are managed with maximum efficiency and accountability. It is part of COA’s mandate to audit government agencies and strengthen their financial practices.

EastMinCom commander Lt. Gen. Luis Rex D. Bergante led his team’s participation, with key staff members from various units also in attendance. The meeting aimed to maintain a high standard of financial stewardship and continuous improvement in the use of taxpayer money.
