WITH THE much-anticipated Kadayawan Festival approaching, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) and the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) are intensifying their coordination to ensure robust public safety measures are in place.

Col Mannan C. Muarip, acting city director of the DCPO, paid a courtesy call to  Angel B. Sumagaysay, officer-in-charge of the PSSO, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

He was accompanied by Jose Daniel Quimpo, PSSO operations officer.

During the meeting, Muarip reiterated DCPO’s “firm commitment to full cooperation and proactive coordination with PSSO,” emphasizing the police force’s dedication to maintaining Davao City’s established “culture of security.”

In response, Sumagaysay assured the DCPO of PSSO’s full support and assistance within his capacity, aiming to achieve “synchronized safety operations across the city.”
