THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) declared the recently concluded Duaw Davao 2025 celebration a success, marked by an “incident-free” environment and a strong display of community unity.

In a statement, Col Mariano C. Rodriguez, the officer-in-charge (OIC) of the DCPO, lauded the “extra-collaboration” among law enforcement agencies, the local government unit, non-government organizations, private sectors, and Davaoeños themselves.

He emphasized that the cooperation and discipline of the city’s residents were crucial to the overall success of the festivities.

“This milestone is a manifestation of the extracollaboration of the law enforcement agencies, the local government unit, non-government organizations, and other private sectors, and especially the Davaoeños themselves, whose cooperation and discipline added to the overall success of the festivity,” PCOL Rodriguez stated.

The OIC also highlighted the city’s embrace of a “culture of security,” noting that “safety is not just the job of a few, but a shared commitment by all.” This culture, he explained, is rooted in mutual respect, proactive awareness, and solidarity.

Rodriguez extended commendation to all security personnel for their dedication and professionalism, which ensured an “orderly and protective space” for all revelers.
