THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) is reinforcing its commitment to operational effectiveness and public trust, following a strategic leadership meeting convened by director Col Mannan C. Muarip on July 25, 2025.
The session brought together station, support, and unit commanders to reaffirm deployment plans and underscore the critical importance of discipline and situational awareness in all field operations.
Muarip emphasized the vital role each officer plays in maintaining peace and order across the city.
He declared that accountability and integrity are non-negotiable values in public service, issuing a strong warning: “We are the first line of defense. Any officer who turns from protector to predator will face the full weight of the law.”
The high-level meeting also addressed evolving community challenges, particularly the persistent fight against illegal drugs.
Attendees discussed recalibrated strategies aimed at improving public perception and intensifying community engagement, which are cornerstones of DCPO’s holistic approach to dismantling criminal networks.
