AUTHORITIES arrested another suspect involved in the robbery and murder of a student inside their home in Barangay La Filipina, Tagum City.
The suspect, identified only as alias Ryan, a 15-year-old residing in Purok Aguinaldo, Barangay New Albay, Maragusan, Davao de Oro, was arrested at approximately 12:05 a.m. on July 11, in Purok Lemonsito, Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City.
The operation was led by the Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office under Col Alexander Serrano Jr., in coordination with personnel from the Regional Intelligence Division, Davao del Norte Provincial Intelligence Unit, 1st Davao del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, Provincial Special Operations Group, and the Tagum City Police Station, headed by officer-in-charge Lt Col Frederick Deles.
The minor suspect is currently under the custody of the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) for proper legal proceedings.Deles thanked the public for providing information that led to the prompt arrest of the suspect.
He also urged all Tagumenyos to continue providing information regarding the whereabouts of the remaining accomplice who managed to escape.
