AN AMERICAN national was rushed to the hospital after he was hit by a prime mover truck at 9:49 a.m. along C.P. Garcia Road in front of Ayo-Ayo Pharmacy in Buhangin on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025.
The victim was only identified as Boerwinkle, a 68-year-old resident of Ma-a.
Boerwinkle was riding a white Honda PCX motorcycle when it was hit from behind by a white Sinotruck Prime Mover driven by alias Ramon, 48, from Carmen, Davao del Norte.
According to the report of the Davao City Police Office, both vehicles were traveling in the same direction, heading north along C.P. Garcia Road.
The driver of the prime mover reportedly failed to notice the motorcycle in front of him, resulting in a collision that caused the motorcyclist to fall.
Barangay Buhangin responders immediately transported the victim to the Southern Philippines Medical Center for medical attention.
The driver of the prime mover truck was taken to the Buhangin Police Station for proper disposition.
