THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested 20 individuals and seized illegal drugs and gambling paraphernalia during a series of anti-crime operations from Sept. 9 to Sept. 10.
Col Mannan C. Muanip, the DCPO chief, said they conducted five operations that led to the arrest of seven suspects and the confiscation of 11.08 grams of shabu and one gram of marijuana.
The total street value of the confiscated drugs is estimated at ₱75,464.
Three operations resulted in the arrest of three gamblers. Police seized five gambling paraphernalia and ₱470.00 in bet money.
Ten operations led to the arrest of 10 wanted individuals, including four who were on the most wanted list.
One operation resulted in the seizure of a firearm.
A total of 218 operations were conducted to enforce local ordinances, leading to the apprehension of 208 violators and the imposition of 297 fines.
Muarip highlighted that these accomplishments reflect its intensified and uncompromising enforcement efforts, which are carried out in strict adherence to police operational procedures and human rights standards.
