THE REGIONAL Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program (ROCBDC), led by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI director III Edgar T. Jubay, officially declared two barangays in Davao City and one in Mabini, Davao de Oro, as drug-cleared.

The declaration, effective July 24, 2025, followed a meeting held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 24, 2025, at the Davao City Anti-Drug Abuse Council Conference Room, located at the Davao City Recreation Center along Quimpo Boulevard.

The committee—comprising representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (Vice Chair), Department of Health, Police Regional Office 11, and the respective local government units—confirmed that Barangay 25-C and Barangay San Isidro in Davao City, along with Barangay Cadunan in Mabini, Davao de Oro, satisfactorily complied with the documentary requirements under Dangerous Drugs Board Regulation No. 4, Series of 2021.

To date, a total of 34 barangays in the Davao Region have been issued resolutions confirming the absence of drug personalities.

Of these, 19 have been verified as Drug-Free Barangays, while 638 barangays have maintained their Drug-Cleared status.

Also present during the deliberation were the respective chiefs of police, Anti-Drug Abuse Council members, and key stakeholders from the concerned barangays.
