A FIRE broke out in Purok 7, San Pedro, Marapangi 3, Toril, destroying a single-story residential building on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025.
The fire was reported at 5:22 p.m. and quickly escalated to a first alarm at 5:30 p.m. Firefighters from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Toril Alpha, Lizada, and 911 Fire Teams, along with volunteers from TORVO, responded to the scene.
Fire officials declared the fire under control at 5:40 p.m. and fire out at 6:10 p.m.
According to the Bureau of Fire and Protection XI report, the burned structure, which measured approximately 60 square meters, was home to a family of two individuals.
The BFP XI said no injuries or fatalities were reported from the incident.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
