THE ARMED Forces of the Philippines (AFP) recognized the Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) for its commitment to military reform, presenting it with the Armed Forces of the Philippines Transformation Roadmap Institutionalization Pathway (AFPTRIP) Second Recertified Status on Sept. 1.
This recognition highlights EastMinCom’s crucial role in the AFP’s mission to become a more professional and credible institution.
AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. personally awarded the status to EastMinCom Commander, Lt. Gen. Luis Rex D. Bergante, in a ceremony at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo.
The award signifies the command’s success in institutionalizing reforms and upholding the principles of good governance, integrity, and accountability.
The AFPTRIP program is central to the military’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its capabilities and improve its service to the nation.
This recertification reflects EastMinCom’s dedication to national security and its part in creating a stronger AFP for a better Philippines.
