- Davao police seize P714-K worth of shabu
SASA Police Station operatives and specialized units arrested a “top priority” drug personality at 4:11 a.m. on Friday, April 3, seizing over P700,000 worth of suspected shabu near Punad Bridge, Barangay Angliongto.
The suspect, identified as alias Boss, 43, a resident of Iligan City, was apprehended in the sting operation of the Sasa Police Drug Enforcement Team, the City Intelligence Unit, and the 1st and 2nd City Mobile Force Company, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI.
According to Sasa police commander Maj Noe L. Macolbacol Jr., an undercover officer purchased a heat-sealed sachet of the illegal substance from the suspect using marked money.
Upon his arrest, authorities recovered approximately 105 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P714,000.
In addition to the illegal substance, police confiscated an OPPO smartphone, a white Ford Ranger, and a driver’s license under the name Khominie Forca Ibrahim.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the Sasa Police Station, facing a charge for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
