TWO HIGH-VALUE suspects fell in a joint buy-bust operation by elements of the Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit and Davao City Police Office in Purok 1, Barangay 1-A Bolton Extension late Friday evening.
According to the report, authorities seized an estimated P408,000 worth of suspected shabu.
The operation, conducted around 7:25 p.m. on Nov. 14, led to the apprehension of alias Beij, 43, a plumber, and alias Charlie, 35, a janitor.
Both suspects are residents of Davao City and were listed as High-Value Individuals.
Law enforcers confiscated four sachets containing suspected shabu, with a total estimated weight of approximately 60 grams. The marked buy-bust money, consisting of one genuine P1,000 bill and 14 pieces of P1,000 bills, was also recovered.
The PNP DEG SOU XI, under the supervision of PCOL Joelito S. Espero, was supported by the Regional Special Operations Group XI, the City Special Operations Group of DCPO (CSOG-DCPO), and the San Pedro Police Station (PS2).
The arrested suspects are currently detained at the San Pedro Police Station, facing charges for violating Section 5 (Sale) and Section 11 (Possession) in relation to Section 26 of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The confiscated drug evidence was turned over to the Regional Forensic Unit XI for examination.
