THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested 81 individuals and confiscated over half a kilogram of illegal substances following a week of operations, according to an accomplishment report covering Nov. 9-15, 2025.
Col Mannan C. Muarip, DCPO chief, reported seizing over 560 grams of shabu (Methamphetamine hydrochloride), with an estimated street value of over P3.8 million during a seven-day period.
Key statistics for the week include:
- Anti-Illegal Drugs: 31 operations were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 38 suspects. The confiscated haul included 560.707 grams of shabu (street drug price: P3,812,807.60) and 1.7 grams of marijuana (SDP: P204).
- Police served 26 warrants, successfully arresting 26 wanted persons, ten of whom were classified as most wanted persons.
- Illegal gambling: 15 operations led to the arrest of 15 gamblers. Authorities seized P3,450 in bet money and filed 15 corresponding cases.
- Loose firearms: Four operations led to the arrest of two suspects and the confiscation of two firearms. The campaign also resulted in one firearm being surrendered and one being turned in for safekeeping under “Oplan Katok.”
“These achievements reflect not only the dedication of the men and women of DCPO but also the strong partnership with the community, barangay officials, and the local government unit,” Muarip said.
