THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) concluded the week-long 28th Brunei Darussalam–Indonesia–Malaysia–Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Senior Officials and Ministerial Meetings with a “zero-incident” record.

The meetings, which drew heads of state, ministers, diplomats, and business leaders from Nov. 10 to 15, reinforced Davao City’s status as a premier and secure destination for international diplomacy.

DCPO chief Col Mannan C. Muarip implemented an extensive and highly coordinated security plan, focusing on protection, traffic management, and area security across all designated activity zones.

The operation was anchored on the Command’s D.A.V.A.O. Framework—Discipline, Action, Virtue, Accountability, and Order. This proactive approach ensured that all security and traffic deployments were intelligence-driven and maintained the highest standards of operational excellence.

“Throughout the six-day international engagement, DCPO and partner agencies maintained heightened vigilance, strict implementation of security protocols, and continuous monitoring of all critical points of concern,” the DCPO stated. “Because of these combined efforts, the entire event concluded with zero incidents.”

Critical to the security success was the seamless coordination achieved under the Multi-Agency Coordinating Center (MACC).

The DCPO worked in unified cooperation with national support units, intelligence agencies, force multipliers, and partner law enforcement groups.

This collective effort strengthened situational awareness and ensured comprehensive security coverage for both local and foreign delegates.

The DCPO affirmed that the achievement “reflects the exceptional dedication of all security forces who worked tirelessly to ensure a safe, orderly, and incident-free international gathering,” demonstrating that with unity and preparedness, Davao City can continue to uphold its reputation as one of the safest cities for high-level events.
