THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO), with help from the Philippine National Police Academy Alumni Association Inc. (PNPAAAI), extended Christmas cheer to the children of Popo Elementary School in General Roxas District, Tugbok, on Friday, Dec. 5.
DCPO acting director Colonel Mannan C. Muarip led the “Pamaskong Handog Alay sa Kabataan Year 9,” alongside PNPAAAI president Supt Presco Manisan Jr.
The police officers distributed food packs, school supplies, slippers, and toys to 71 students of Popo Elementary School, located in Sitio Popo, General Roxas District.
They were welcomed by school in charge, Rezel Jade Agmit.
During the program, Muarip thanked the community for its cooperation, highlighting the importance of sharing the Christmas spirit through acts of kindness.
“Christmas is a time of giving and sharing hope. Through this program, we want the children to feel that they are cared for and valued,” Muarip stated.
“The DCPO, together with PNPAAI, remains committed to serving with compassion and ensuring that our communities experience peace, joy, and unity this holiday season.
