THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) held its traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony and recognition event for exemplary personnel for their outstanding dedication and service on Monday, Oct. 6.

Acting city director PCOL Mannan C. Muarip led the ceremony at the DCPO headquarters, and personally commended the awardees for professionalism and commitment to the ideals of police service.

The recognized awardees, hailing from the 2nd City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) and City Administrative and Resource Management Unit ( CARMU), included:

  • PCPT Melanio S. Castillo Jr.
  • PSMS Homer P. Albite
  • PAT Jovil B. Englis
  • PAT Paul John B. Soltes
  • NUP Mae Jean Maynocao Achacoso

In his message, Muarip emphasized the critical importance of operational preparedness. He instructed officers to maintain a “go bag” for rapid deployment in emergency situations.

The acting city director also stressed the need for stronger coordination with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Central 911 to ensure a swift and effective response during calamities and disaster situations.

Muarip urged all personnel to align their actions with the Seven Agendas of PNP Chief Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, and the DCPO’s guiding framework: DAVAO—Discipline, Action, Virtue, Accountability, and Order.
