THE SAN Pedro Police Station apprehended a suspected thief on Wednesday, March 11, following a swift operation by the San Pedro Police Station (PS2).

The operation, led by station commander Maj Emmanuel Manlatican under the direction of acting city director PCOL Mannan Muarip, targeted a suspect accused of stealing wallets, ID cards, and cash from a vehicle parked along Quezon Boulevard in Barangay 37-D.

Police identified the suspect through a combination of CCTV footage and a tip from a vigilant citizen. Operatives recovered the stolen items during the arrest.

Muarip commended both the responding officers and the community for their cooperation.

“This operation demonstrates the effectiveness of the police-community partnership,” Muarip said. “The DCPO remains steadfast in its commitment to protect the people of Davao City and uphold the rule of law.”

The suspect is currently in police custody, facing a theft charge.
