THE ROTARY Club of Waling-Waling Davao, together with the Rotary Club of South Davao, is calling for blood donors for its ‘Blood Donation Drive 2025’ on July 20 at Stella Maris Academy of Davao.
Maribel Vilela, district community service chair of Rotary District 3860, highlighted that the annual activity aims to provide sufficient blood supplies for those in need.
She added that this event is held in the month of July to prepare for the rainy season in the coming months, in observance of rising dengue cases.
Blood Donation Drive 2025 is an initiative of Rotary District 3860 to promote saving lives and provide local hospitals with a constant need for blood supply, with a goal of fostering volunteerism.
Participants can join and support the event if they are eligible, invite their family members and fellow colleagues, or share the Rotary Clubs of Davao’s online campaign.
This year’s activity is in partnership with Stella Maris Academy of Davao, the Philippine Coast Guard, Davao City Water District, and Davao Blood Center.
