THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested the top three regional-level high-value target and confiscated approximately ₱625,600 worth of suspected shabu during a successful search warrant operation on Nov. 8, 2025, in Bago Uma, Menterbro, Barangay Ilang.
Police also seized a 9mm Taurus pistol from alias Bakol.
The operation was spearheaded by the City Drug Enforcement Unit and the City Special Operations Group, under the command of Lt Col Randy Sambalod.
The joint team also included personnel from RPDEU XI, CIU, 1st and 2nd City Mobile Force Companies, PDEG XI, SOU XI, Regional Maritime Unit XI, Police Station 6–Bunawan, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI (PDEA XI).
Acting city director Col Mannan C. Muarip attributed the success to intelligence-driven policing and strong community engagement.
“The fight against illegal drugs is not just a police campaign—it is a shared mission. When the community and the police work hand-in-hand, every victory becomes possible,” Muarip said.
