DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) acting director Col Mannan C. Muarip conducted a surprise on-the-spot inspection and corrections (OTSIC) at Police Station 3 – Talomo on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Received by deputy station commander Cpt Ryan Kenneth T. Ramones, Muarip focused his evaluation on three key areas: operational readiness, personnel discipline, and cleanliness.

The city director strongly emphasized the need for officers to maintain a professional image, courtesy, and respect in all public interactions.

Furthermore, he directed the station to maximize police visibility through proactive patrolling. PCOL Muarip stressed the crucial value of community-oriented policing, urging personnel to adopt a preventive strategy rather than a reactive one to maintain peace and order in the Talomo area.

This OTSIC initiative reflects the DCPO’s strategic goal of continuous improvement and proactive leadership, ensuring that all units are fully equipped to meet the evolving demands of modern law enforcement.
