Solamo assumes command of 10th Division Training School

LIEUTENANT Colonel Anthony Fer Solamo was officially installed as the new commandant of the 10th Division Training School (10DTS) during a change of command ceremony on Sept. 22, 2025. The ceremony took place at Camp General Manuel T. Yan Sr. in Tuboran, Mawab, Davao de Oro.

Lt. Col. Solamo succeeds Colonel Arnold Cabeza, the outgoing commandant.

Prior to his new assignment, Lt. Col. Solamo served as the Commanding Officer of the 39th Infantry “Smash’em” Battalion.

 In his assumption speech, he pledged to continue developing disciplined, professional, and battle-ready “Agila Troopers” who are prepared for the future challenges of a shift to territorial defense
